Description : Public Area Attendant. Company : Holiday Inn. Location : Perth WA

As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep floor; remove non-closet items and store in appropriate areas
• Respond to guests’ requests such as deliver of housekeeping supplies
• Clean other designated areas such as public restrooms, fixtures, storage areas, and other public areas for assigned floors
• Assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens.
• Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions
• Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction
• Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
• May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects
• May assist with other duties as assigned
• Responsible for the outdoor landscaping upkeep
• Complete daily reports outlining work undertaken for the day

• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
• Good Communication and writing skills
